This Cablenet installation was part of the new building for Johnstone Town Hall. The requirement was to create a tension wire grid in a room that could be eventually used either as one large area or which could also have the option to be split into two smaller areas.
This would be done by a sliding partition, which meant that whilst the grid was installed in one section, there was provision within the grid structure for the sliding partition without impacting on the overall performance of the Cablenet grid.
The overall grid size of this installation was 16.3m x 21m which was commissioned by Renfrewshire Council, where we worked closely with the main contractor BAM Construction Ltd.
We can install Cablenet in new buildings or retro-fit to old; we can construct it in virtually any size or shape; and, using the experience we’ve gained since first introducing the system more than 20 years ago, we can design it to provide an economical solution to even the most challenging of building layouts.
