A familiar landmark in Glasgow's Merchant City area for centuries, the Tron Theatre was established as a theatre club in 1979. The Cablenet tensioned wire grid installed here consists of a circular frame (8 metre diameter) with integral sub-frame. Horizontal lighting bars which are supported from the sub-frame as the dome ceiling above could not be disturbed.
